i played demo. i want to play this game early!! i have one question. where do i watch this view? because i am japanese, my English is poor. if my writing is difficult, im sorry.
Right when entering the capulet, head to the upper left building and enter. I believe this will launch an event. You'll then have to go to the bandit camp and search for a specific tent.
Fun demo. I didn't unlock gallery images 4 and 6 though. Are they available in the demo? Also idk if it was an error on my computer's end or in the coding. But after I choose what actions the characters would take vs 3 abductor plants, the game froze although the music kept playing. I had to restart the game from my last save.
Ah, and I accidentally picked up a bandit and couldn't put them down unless there was a pot/box/etc. This happened in the forest, which left my party member alone to fight. It'd be nice to be able to place enemies down even if I'm not hiding them.
Are there multiple images for loosing to vines? I got one image for loosing to enemies and another from loosing to vines, I assumed there was one of each.
Actually, never mind. They all just spawned in one spot in the camp on top of each other. I think the game didn’t know what to do when I carried them out, so it just teleported them in a random spot.
I don’t know if this is intentional, but in the bandit camp, if you capture a bandit and carry it into a tent or out of the area, the bandit disappears forever. I have tried getting a game over and other methods, but nothing works. Just a minor but noticeable nitpick.
The escape level primarily determines how effective struggling is. In the current demo there is no way to increase it, but there will be in the full game :)
Haha, sorry about that. As of the release of that demo, the tied graphic for her had not been drawn yet, and since we didn't think anyone would go to those lengths to beat her, we made the battle result not matter for easier debugging ^^; We might put in some alternative thing there in the future, or just make it completely impossible to win. We'll see >__>
Is it still not working for you? If so, let me know, and I'll set up a non-Itch download link for you. It seems strange though, since no one else I ask have encountered this issue.
Hey, just tuned in from few days ago when I started playing Didnapper 2 and it’s great! A lot of improvements and I like it more than the first game I think. There is a minor problem though, as an NPC blocking the way (Capulet Farm, the part heading to factory). Also, does the escape level meant to not increase in level? I tried several times getting captured searching for gallery pics and while I escaped a number them, they seem to not increase. That’s all, love the direction the game’s heading and hope for the best for future updates!
I'm a fan of it so far. It feels even more like a jrpg than the first, which is nice. It may have just been my change in play style but it feels a bit more complex. I'd say my only real complaint right now would be the lack of dialogue after being captured, but it's not really a big deal. It's just a little weird sometimes going straight to the game over screen with nothing in between, but that may just be me. Looking forward to future developments
We are going to look into having that option, although given the fact that D2 is planned to have more quests/events like that, we'd probably have to do it differently.
So far we're only planning on having Seles be the one you can escape as, mostly due to the increased number of ties, restraints and animation frames already makes it a huge task just to add everything we want for Seles. Not to mention you have more party members in Didnapper 2 than you did in the first game ^^;

With the new version I decided to look further into it and I'm not entirely sure what I did but here what i did, looked into the "show package contents", i opened "Contents-Resources-app.nw-save" and i think by doing this it made the game saveable, **I think** i don't know, mostly wanted to share how i fixed the problem
Well, that error occurs if the game tries to save while it's placed in a folder with certain restrictions, in which case moving it to a folder with less restrictions usually fixes the problem. I suppose there is a chance that looking into the folder in question may have removed the read-only restriction, idk
Yes, we are planning to hire voice actors to do properly fitting gag noises closer to the end of the development, similar to how we custom gag noises recorded for Bonds :)
Yes, the current exp system gives your party members exp depending on the difference in level between the character and the enemy. If the enemy is a higher level than you, it gives you more exp than if it is lower level than you. This is not yet reflected on the battle result screen, but we intend for it to be displayed in the future :)
I feel that escaping in the prison is much harder than in the bandit camp because in the camp you can focus on the gag, and then let your ally do the work. Maybe try to make the options for escape more balanced.
It was replaced by the player being able to be repeatedly captured and put in randomized escape situations by bandits and Cantamille guards. Later in the game you will be able to do escape training like in Didnapper 1, but a bit more customizable.
How about this? Currently, blindfolds only limit restraint levels and surroundings. This does not have any significant effect on releasing restraints. So my suggestion is to cover the restraining gauge when the blindfold is filled. This will cause the player to lose track of the escape velocity and impose some force on removing the blindfold.

are you planing to make this game longer then fist one and will privet cell be in it and more things to do in it? i relly loved story on first one and i really wished it was longer and more things to do but its you choice if you want to make it loner or other stuff.
This game will be longer than the first game, yes. We don't intend to have the same private cell feature, but we do intend to have something a bit similar.
Thank you for an exciting game! Improvements in game mechanics from the first game (namely escape & ambush systems) are great, and storyline & characters are very promising despite it being an early chapters demo. Also it was very nice to see a familiar NPC - somehow it gives a nostalgic feeling, pointing out that both games are actually taking place in the same world. Also I have encountered several bugs and game design issues. I'd gladly make a detailed review if needed. Also I'm not sure you're interested, given that you have a team and backer that probably give a lot of feedback anyway, and that this is just an early demo.

I believe images 4 and 6 are unlocked by losing to kidnapping vines. I'm not to sure, havent played the demo in weeks

There are cave vines in the Montague. There should be a mine somewhere to the right.

I want to ask what is the use of escape level during the escaping.
I saw this when playing DID1, everytime when escaped, the level will up for 1, but I don't know what that's for.
So I want to ask that in DID2, what is the use of escape level ?
I'm not sure, but I guess the escape level is how much you are able to untie yourself in battle.

We are going to look into having that option, although given the fact that D2 is planned to have more quests/events like that, we'd probably have to do it differently.

The Aden experience has become null after you leave Casca's room and fight a soldier, the Aden level has become 1 if you go to a hotel to rest

the game is great so far but every time Seles goes past level 9 it resets her back to level 1. This only happens on Seles it hasn't happpened to Aden.

Possibly with an emulator, but it is not designed to be played on Android as of now
