Replay bug: If you go back with the story crystal to chapter1 and win the fight with Zhara, Seles will still be Zhara's captive after the battle although it was the other way around when the battle ended. This felt out of place as there was no explanation why the tables got turned. You should add a short scene in which this happens because I think many players will go back to see what happens if you beat Zhara that early in the story. You could even make it result in an alternate joke-ending: Zhara gets locked up on the island, Elize never finds out about Seles and the story never happens.
That fight is still intended to be unbeatable and no winning scene exists yet. If they do add one, Im sure it will still up with Seles getting chloroformed and story proceeding as normal.
Maybe you can charm the professor and ask him to help you. That is how I cleared escape test 6. But based on my experience whether you make a sound, or not might be part of your luck (or maybe it is related also to Guard strictness).
Falling down from suspension almost always causes the guard to come in and tighten your remaining ropes. I think it's part of the challenge. Only if you are extremely unlucky they will hoist you up again, most often they just fasten your connection rope. If your escape level is high enough you'll have enough time to get out of suspension at least two times in this challenge as you'll get certain bonuses (critical hits (green flash), one extra second + delayed start per struggling and halved distraction penalty are the most helpful). Use camp to level up at least until you enable criticals (pressing a button fast enough will result in a green flash and at least double the effect). If you want, you can abuse the camp system to level up really fast by setting up a very short and easy challenge with "impossible" difficulty. Use chair or frogtie and set everything to max except for wrists which you set up that you can still easily get free in 3 turns, then set timer to 9. Voila, "impossible" difficulty, very easy to get out in a few seconds and you'll level up on almost every try. A high escape level makes every escape challenge in the game feel like a walk in the park and you can even toy around with guards to make them angry on purpose. Later in the game I was missing an option to ask a guard explicitly to give me a harder challenge, something like "your ropework is an insult to my escape skills, can't you do any better?"
It took me even 55 hours as I always levelled up in an area until enemies didn't give me any significant amount of EXP anymore before moving on. I know I could level up faster by advancing the story earlier but I wanted to get everything out of every area without rushing it. I waited so long for this game and it felt so great playing it that I wanted it to take as long as reasonably possible. Now I’m really looking forward to the post game content in the updates.
I tried that, but the game would just bump all the enemies up close to whatever my "OP" level was and the fun went away. Still haven't beat the final boss. Really really stupid fight. I want challenging, not unbeatable.
The game only does that when going back to older areas and only to a certain extend as there is a limit. I often found myself quicksaving before going into fights and pressing F5 (reset to title and reload) if enemy levels where too low to still give me EXP. Enemy levels fluctuate for about 10 levels in each area and it seems random what you get. Even if you have bound captives with you to bring into the fight for easy EXP and item drops, they can be level 38 in one fight and 45 in the next or vice versa.
The final fight is far from unbeatable, read my tips a few posts further down if you're struck. I found it quite easy to come up with a strategy here and took her down on my first try,
Okay, maybe I was just lucky, I'll replay it now. No, wasn't luck, I took her down again without any problems. Only Aden got tied up after being stunned near the end when the boss had only 2K HPs left, but three more magic attacks from the others (with MATK buffed once and MDEF debuffed twice) where enough to still take her down easily before she could pwn anyone else.
After Chelsea joins and I go to Escape training with her, the game thinks it's Eileen, all of the conversations and events are the same, even though she looks like Chelsea.
Interesting, I got a different bug with Chelsea: When I entered the tent for escape training, Arden came in an told me I can use AC-Ropes now although she was not with me at this time (still on the ocean on the chroma ship).
Overall, I loved this game. It took everything the first game did and amped it up to 11. The new characters were really fleshed out, and there were never any places where the story dragged. If the development team sees this, thank you for all your hard work.
Any tips on beating (SPOILER) Elize? I've been stuck on her for a while and I'm playing on easy with my entire party level 50
(Also is she supposed to be able to capture people who are around 600 health? If it is it's pretty broken, as after she does that she takes down everyone in a few turns)
I also was level 50 and took her down on my first try on normal without major problems. So either I was very lucky & you extremely unlucky or it's a matter of strategy. I used Seles and Kaie as magic damage dealers and Arden and Eileen for buffing, debuffing and healing. There is this water spell (I forgot the name) for constant healing (regen) you can get from a tarot card so always have it active and use large or medium potions if anyone gets seriously hurt. Don't underestimate buffing/debuffing as it's almost as effective in Didnapper 2 as it was in SMT Nocturne. Although Elize takes little damage from darkness still use Arden's Darkmatter Attack (dark or bone crystal) to keep her MDEF debuffed twice and use Eileen to also buff your MATK twice. Seles and Kaie will do a LOT more damage then.
Also make sure to go into the fight fully rested. After defeating Zhara you can go back and get captured for a last refreshing stay in the dungeons (yeah, I know there's a bed in the castle but beds are for losers). Just make sure you don't fight anyone while going back to not waste any CPs on the way (okay, you could also refresh CPs with items before going in but I never did that to save my chroma crystals for a fight I might need them in (but I never did).
Oh, I forgot: She can take down party members instantly if they get stunned. If that happens cure the stun ailemt ASAP and if it's too late stop attacking and focus on healing and freeing the person who got tied up as you need everyone. Eileen's spell to fill half of someone's ATB-meter can help a lot to make your party member with the highest rescue skill act quickly. (BTW you can also utilize stunning attacks to take down female enemies quickly although it doesn't seem to work on bosses (but sometimes on their support characters, I could take down both of King Byron's retainers that way without having to wear down their HPs)),
After completing the main story I remembered the zhara fight from chapter 1 that was impossible to win at the time and wanted to see if anything would happen if I did win. Using the story crystal I went back and won the fight but the game continued as if I had lost with seles tied up and getting ready to be taken on the ship.
After the dialogue the screen goes black. The music continues in the background but the game won't progress. I tried rebooting the game but everytime I attempt to load this save file I am taken back to the same black screen. Clearing my Mac's system logs and restarting it did not help.
The save file is broken/stuck now unless there is a patch for this
I discovered the updated v1.0.2 bug fix update and moved my save file over to that version and I still have the same problem. This save file is still stuck
So if anyone else is thinking about going back to win that fight don't do it
Did you only use one save-file? *shock* Never do that in RPGs or games in general if it's possible. Speaking from past experience, this is not the first game where a savefile could get stuck. I always switch to a different one every few hours I play so I can go back to an earlier one if that happens (or I realize I missed something important).
But I must point out that there are too few types of female enemies in the last few chapters, which reduces my interest in playing. For example, the priestess has several pixel models but only one image.
Hope our great DID Games can provide more pretty girls for us to capture!
the game is great. Thank you game team. I've been waiting all year. hopefully in the future the game team will continue to develop the game even more. By the way, has anyone opened all the pictures yet? let me have a look. Thank you!
Bug report: if you're fighting in the camp against Chelsea with the Steal skill purchased, the AI using it on any party member causes an error message to appear.
Bug found: If you do not save in the section asking if you want to save while progressing to Chapter 1 with the Story Crystal, a black screen is maintained and the process does not proceed.
In the library, when you ask the guy downstairs to cause a distraction, he wants to do it and tries to run off to the north (up the stairs). If you ask him standing in his way, you'll block his path and the game freezes. Not fatal because you can reset and reload but annoying if haven't saved since entering the library.
1. At the beginning of Chapter 7, I could select Zhara as guard in the escaping training(camp) even I have NOT met her again since Chapter 1. A little bit illogical?
2. Again at the beginning of Chapter 7(camp), after fighting with Kaie, Kaie with awards(just next to Greywind bandit) disappeared in the Enemy list. (Kaie without rewards (next to Liliana) unlocked)
No walkthrough guide yet, that I know of. Nothing in game is missable or hard to find, though one side-quest has a much better choice between its 2 options.
Where can I find tech support? The game worked fine for the first few days but now it always crashes within 30-60 seconds after startup. It's not just one error either but multiple. Restarting my mac does not help.
I'm also running into an error on Mac, it's trying to write to a place where I can't change permissions as administrator. The application is in a normal Applications folder, which starts off as:
Error: EROFS: read-only file system, open '/private/var/folders [...]
Have you tried running the game from the terminal by right clicking on the game, selecting show package contents > contents > macOS. This gets rid of some errors for me. For the rest i had to clear off the junk and system logs from my mac using the CCleaner app. The game works for me again for the time being
Anyone else struggling with the Alyssa / Dariana fight? My whole party is lvl 25, same as them, and they're just wiping the floor with me. What am I missing?
I would guess you were missing training Seles to use smokescreen and keep the two constantly blind/confused, while Eileen saves all her CP to heal and Kaie also blinds whenever both the confusion and the blind from Seles misses or wears off.
Besides that, generally when fighting several strong enemies, focus all fire on one, then as soon as you bound her, secure her bindings at least once. Then you really don't have to worry about her anymore (Alyssia didn't even struggle, she just glared all the time. Maybe the AI decided its hopeless)
Finished playing the whole story. But why some plot is missing when facing Eliza. She just mention the child is seles and i think there are more conversations before
Bug report : When i step into a silk worm in a map next to Micihuatl, i got teleported back to Micihuatl. I can't upload the screenshot. The silk worm is located on the left of a bulletin board.
It took me a while to find. Look for a small white diamond on the floor. It was half hidden behind a lamp post when I found it but I don't know if it appears in a random place each time.
It's still there, wait until you get your camp. However, there is (at least) one escape feature you cannot choose from the camp menu which you can get in the game (doesn't happen that often but I wouldn't call it rare either).
Never thought a game with such a weird premise could get me to genuinely care this much. The story is very well written, the music beautiful and the mechanics (though hardly anything praise worthy) are engaging enough that i never felt bored or annoyed at them. Each party member has a colorful personality (Including the main character) and a sexy design (excluding Eileen, whom i only want to hug). The game took me a good 20 hours to finish and i would happily play it for another 20, though in the future, i hope the option to play as the other party members in the escape mini game will be added.
The only real post-game now is revisiting old areas with your now full party, having ability to do any side-quests you haven't done yet, and redoing story parts through crystals. They have promised more sidequests and endgame content for free so long as you already paid for game already.
As for using other party members for escape, we will have to rely on fan-made mods most likely.
I didn’t play the first game so i’m new to the series and i’m playing the demo. I find it very disappointing that game overs exist in a game featuring bondage and DID. I hate save-scumming but that’s what i have to resort to because of your design.
Some other feedback from the demo:
It would be useful to see all the enemies’ HP in battle at all times.
Setting the frequency of voices in battle doesn’t seem to work. I ended up putting the volume to 0% for that.
Volume levels should increment by a smaller number than 20%.
I can’t decrease volume, i can only increase it until it wraps back to 0%.
The transparency at the bottom of the portraits is inconsistent. It’s weird that i can see through Seles’ waist above the dialog boxes.
There are places in the map that look like they go somewhere but they don’t. You should block those off. An example is at the South of the first mine. It looks like it goes somewhere but nothing happens, not even a message.
There’s a lot of places on the maps that look like they are accessible, but they’re not and it’s confusing. An example is the campfire you see at the beginning of the Miu forest.
Using directions as the escape QTE is a bit irritating because if i press UP/DOWN just as the timer expires, it changes the binding i have selected.
I think your asking price is pretty high compared to other games i’ve purchased so i have higher expectations. Sorry if it sounds like i’m nitpicking, that’s just my opinion.
Warning, possible spoiler ahead for something that happened to me in chapter seven doing an additional escape, but it could also be random, I don't know because it wasn't story related.
Only read the rest if you don't want to get spoiled about something that could happen when getting captured.
Oh, there is suspension bondage, is this a kind of Easter egg? I couldn't chose this when practising in camp and so far (I'm in chapter 7) it only happened once to me in an additional escape sequence after surrendering to get healed. Great surprise finding yourself alone in a cell suspended from the ceiling with no allies to help. I was like "WTF do I do now?" and only got out with a counter of 3 remaining after having to struggle through 3 tiers (suspension, connection and normal escape) on my own.
Was it something special or does it happen more frequently later in the game?
really good game so far, but the main complaint is there doesn’t seem to be any game over text for this one…it just goes to game over scene then restart
Yeah, missing that too. In Didnapper 1 part of the fun was losing boss battles on purpose to see what happens. There was also a playable "now doomed to slavery"-sequence in a later chapter if I remember correctly. In Didnapper 2 I just got a simple game over screen so far (I'm in chapter 7).
This game is great, i love the tighten story and many good DID scene, its make me hard very much. But there is something that i want game to update next time :3
- Please add more custume CG for Seles and others. I'm a bit sad when Seles wears maid outfit but can't see it.
- Please add all main char to Escape system. And the capture mechanic when defeat ally in battle system and send them to the cage.
-Please add Interogation system in the camp too. Especially that we can interogate ally too. More than that we can capture all the female boss to the camp and interogate them too.
More outfits and characters for the escape game will be reliant on fan mods most likely. Above video is someones work on maid costume and extended scenario that hopefully will be modded into official release one day.
So after beating the prologue I saved the game and closed it. Later when I try to start it again the game won't load at all and now all I get is a blank screen without anything loading.

Can any one post a pic of the enemy list starting with the stromm bandit as it says i am missing quite a few.

Any advice on escaping suspension ties without making a sound? Going for level 4 escape test in CRC and can't seem to make it work.

It took me 30 hours to finish, and I loved every moment of it!! It is an awesome game, and I will still have some fun with escape training and so on..
Can't wait for the future updates, and I really hope that we will also see other great games in the future from DID Games :3

Thank you, it took a few more tries but with your advice, I was finally able to beat her.
How can I use items while escaping? (like dagger, etc)
The game automatically uses the best one you have :)
Finished the game, it was great. I hope in future they add escape challenge with different party member. And of course new cloth as well

This game is awesome!
I always make the ropes tighter, so it is harder to escape :3
love the game, just miss the personal dungeon
the game is great. Thank you game team. I've been waiting all year. hopefully in the future the game team will continue to develop the game even more. By the way, has anyone opened all the pictures yet? let me have a look. Thank you!
May I ask if the game producer has the script of the lines in the game? If so, can you contact me?
Bug report on linux. I bought the game on steam (proton experimental) and the game freezes from time to time. And also weird glitches.
Bug report: if you're fighting in the camp against Chelsea with the Steal skill purchased, the AI using it on any party member causes an error message to appear.
Where should we going after defeat Eliza, I have no clue where to go next?
That is all of the main story for now. More post-game content should arrive in following year.
Bug found: If you do not save in the section asking if you want to save while progressing to Chapter 1 with the Story Crystal, a black screen is maintained and the process does not proceed.
Bug report (freeze (in v1.0.2)):
In the library, when you ask the guy downstairs to cause a distraction, he wants to do it and tries to run off to the north (up the stairs). If you ask him standing in his way, you'll block his path and the game freezes. Not fatal because you can reset and reload but annoying if haven't saved since entering the library.
Bug report:(not fatal bugs)
Ok so to download the bugfix update file, i have to spend $19.99 and buy the game again!?
Back to the top of the page, you could find the "Download" button under "You own this game".
Thank you! You are awesome!
Excellent game!
Is there any guide for this game?
List of quests, or anything that can be missable?
No walkthrough guide yet, that I know of. Nothing in game is missable or hard to find, though one side-quest has a much better choice between its 2 options.

Their public Discord should be more help as well. They don't have link here on this page but it is on the Steam Store page.
Anyone else struggling with the Alyssa / Dariana fight? My whole party is lvl 25, same as them, and they're just wiping the floor with me. What am I missing?
I ended up lowering the difficulty to easy (I was on normal). Not what I would prefer to do, but it works.

I had the exact same bug! I enterd the throne room, the screen went black and it continued mid conversation!
That was a bug that was fixed in v1.0.2. Our apologies!
I recommend updating the game and using the story crystal to play that scene again.
Is there any cheats ?
Bug report : When i step into a silk worm in a map next to Micihuatl, i got teleported back to Micihuatl. I can't upload the screenshot. The silk worm is located on the left of a bulletin board.
I don't know how to do the lost necklace mission. It's a simple side quest, but I couldn't complete it after searching for it all day.
And I'm very sorry that I'm asking questions like this, because I can't think of a proper place to ask game-related questions.
I'd like to know too because I couldn't find it either.
It took me a while to find. Look for a small white diamond on the floor. It was half hidden behind a lamp post when I found it but I don't know if it appears in a random place each time.
In what location you can activate it?
It's in Capulet - Factory. Small diamond located behind a lamppost in the section with stacks of boxes and a wagon.
Did you remove the escape test feature from the full version? :o
It's still there, wait until you get your camp. However, there is (at least) one escape feature you cannot choose from the camp menu which you can get in the game (doesn't happen that often but I wouldn't call it rare either).
Never thought a game with such a weird premise could get me to genuinely care this much. Nice game! And can you add the Escape part for vine and web ?
Me encanto el juego, el art es excelente, y una gran historia pero, donde estan las celdas y prisioneras como en el primer juego?
really good game so far, but the main complaint is there doesn’t seem to be any game over text for this one…it just goes to game over scene then restart
